Conceiving

A fertility specialist can help you conceive by evaluating your medical history, performing tests to assess your fertility, and developing a personalised treatment plan. This may involve using medication to regulate ovulation, performing intrauterine insemination (IUI), or utilizing assisted reproductive technology (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). It’s all about increasing your chances of conceiving a healthy baby.

The ART of Fertility

Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) is a group of medical procedures used to help couples or individuals achieve pregnancy. ART involves manipulating eggs, sperm, and/or embryos outside of the body to facilitate conception. Procedures include in vitro fertilization (IVF), and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), among others. ART may be used for infertility, fertility preservation, and to help same-sex couples or individuals start a family.

Egg freezing

Egg freezing, also known as oocyte cryopreservation, is a fertility preservation technique that involves extracting a woman’s eggs from her ovaries, freezing them, and storing them for later use. It can be an option for women who want to delay pregnancy or have a medical condition that could affect their fertility. The frozen eggs can later be thawed, fertilized with sperm, and used to attempt pregnancy.
