IVF and Fertility Treatments

A number of treatments are available to help you overcome barriers to fertility and conception. In addition to offering assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF, ICSI, IUI, and third party reproduction, we can also investigate causes of female infertility such as endometriosis, PCOS, and menstrual disorders, as well as male infertility causes such as sperm abnormalities.

Preconception Advice

Preconception Advice

The best time to take steps to optimise your fertility is before you even start trying to conceive. We can assess your fertility and overall health to provide tailored, holistic preconception advice, giving you the best chance of falling pregnant naturally.

Egg Freezing

Egg Freezing

Also known as oocyte cryopreservation, freezing your eggs allows you to store them until you’re ready to grow your family. We facilitate egg freezing for women choosing to delay childbearing for both social reasons or medical indications, including cancer treatment (oncofertility).

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Experiencing repeated miscarriages can be extremely distressing and requires specialist care to maximise your chances of a healthy pregnancy. We have extensive experience in managing recurrent pregnancy loss, providing comprehensive care within an empathetic environment.

Second Opinion

Second Opinion

Trust is paramount between clinician and patient. Not every doctor will suit every patient and for some patients, the fertility journey can be long. Seeking a second opinion with us can be an important step for success, either to validate the decisions and treatments sought to date, or to provide a fresh perspective on your options.

PGT

PGT

Preimplantation genetic testing can help to give you peace of mind that your embryos chosen for implantation during IVF have a minimal risk of genetic defects. We can facilitate PGT for couples who have a known risk of passing on a genetic condition or for those simply wishing to improve their chances of a healthy baby.

FAQs

You will have ample time to ask any questions during your appointments and even in between. Here are answers to some of your frequently asked questions.

Do I need a referral?

Yes, your GP or another specialist should provide you with a referral. If you do not have one, please contact us on 1300 330 279 and we can provide you with a list of our referring women’s health GPs.

What do I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your GP referral, Medicare card and any health fund details. Any correspondence from other health professionals or recent investigations are also helpful.

Do I need private health insurance to see you?

No. Health funds do not contribute to the expenses of initial out-of-hospital consultations. The benefits of a health fund are that it will generally cover some or all of the expenses associated with assisted reproductive services or inpatient surgery.

Do you provide obstetric care?

Elle’s areas of expertise are in fertility medicine and gynaecology. However, she is very happy to refer you on to one of her trusted obstetric colleagues.
